Acceptable Use Policy

The following is the Acceptable Use Policy all customers must abide by when using their WPDirectroy Pro service and/or product. It outlines the various acceptable uses for your account and what we consider abuse. By signing up and/or using your WPDirectory Pro account, you agree to abide by this policy and our Terms Of Service policy and to keep updated on any changes which may occur. This policy may change at any time without notice.

Account Services
By signing up for an account with WPDirectory Pro you are assuming responsibility for all actions of users that you permit onto the system. Failure to comply with this regulation is in direct conflict with the Terms & Conditions which every customer should have read and has agreed to by using our service.

Net Etiquette
At WPDirectory Pro, we would like every customer to have the best Internet experience possible; however, we do not wish it to be at other customers' expense. The Internet is a global computer network which is comprised of people from diverse backgrounds. When communicating with people on the Internet, it is best to keep in mind that there is another person on the other end of the computer that you are communicating with. Please treat others with the same respect as you would like to be treated.

Free Speech
WPDirectory Pro promotes free speech and believes all users are entitled to their opinion. Users must ensure that their opinion and use of free speech do not breach Netiquette. Threats of any kind are not tolerated. We apply fair use rules when quoting copywritten works.

Copyrights
Almost every country has copyright laws and there are international copyright laws. WPDirectory Pro cannot and does not review the information flowing through or stored on our system. When you become a WPDirectory Pro customer, you are agreeing not to transfer or store copyrighted works on our system without the written permission of the copyright holder.

Content
WPDirectory Pro is not liable for contents of any area on the website that contain public comments or opinion. We will react to all complaints from legitimate sources.

System Security
You will not attempt to bypass any security features of the system or this website or attempt to access features of the system or this website that you do not have normal access to and have not been given permission to access.

Spam and Abuse
Spam and abuse is defined by WPDirectory Pro as;
the repeated posting of articles to inappropriate newsgroups
posting messages or email for the purpose of unsolicited advertising/promotion whether for commercial or personal purposes
offtopic messages on newsgroups or message boards for the purpose of directing users to your website
repetitive posting
violating any other items on this page or on the TOS
WPDirectory Pro does not tolerate spam or abuse in any form. All complaints will be investigated thoroughly. If you are unsure if what you want to do will be considered spam feel free to contact support and ask.

Penalties
Any account closed due to spam or abuse compaints will be charged a fee of $50.00 US for each complaint for clean up fees and an additional $50.00 US fee for each spam email or message sent.

Email Lists
WPDirectory Pro offers hosting of opt-in mailing lists. These lists must be built by your customers joining manually and not purchased lists. Purchased lists are usually not legitimate customers and such lists were probably generated by collecting email addresses without consent. Using purchased email lists is considered abuse and usually generates large amounts of complaints. You may import lists that your customers have previously opted into on another host.

Threats & Language
Threats and/or foul language are not acceptable and users doing using any of these will find that they are at minimum banned from accessing our site and this may result in closure of your account, termination of your license(s) and legal proceedings.

There is almost always a solution to an issue, but using threats and foul language mean that we will immediately stop any and all contact with you.

Threats of a legal nature will result in all communications being halted and information given to you on how to have your lawyer contact WPDirectory Pro. After threats of a legal nature have been made we will not respond to you directly until after legal proceedings have been settled and all communications must be presented through your lawyer.

Privacy
We do not monitor what is downloaded or viewed from our system, we only monitor bandwidth use. Your name and all personal information will be kept private. The only way we will reveal your information is with a court order. Please see our Privacy Statement for more information.

Legal Proceedings
You agree that any and all legal proceedings that may arise between yourself or anyone who uses your account and WPDirectory Pro, it's officers, owners, employees, partners, agents, and shareholders will be held within the jurisdiction of the offices of WPDirectory Pro, specifically located within the City of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
